4 Stars good product
The got the cable with different pin configuration compare to pin configuration shown on the picture. i.e. some of the middle pins were missing. I connected the cable and my computer monitor started working on digital mode.I am not sure about the why it worked fine with different pin configuration. Even I am not sure whether I can get better picture quality with the cable with the pin configuration shown on above picture.
5 Stars Great Cable, Great Price, Monster is a Ripoff
If you need any type of cabling, I don’t care what it is, do not waste your money on monster cables. You can get cabling that works just as well for a fraction of the price. Gold connectors are the biggest scam on the planet. Solid gold cables might conduct better, but plated means nothing. So unless you intend to pay $800 for one, stick with cheap. I have this cable pushing a 1920X signal from my PC to my Toshiba. Works perfect. No over scan, 100% of the screen utilized. Movies look perfect. Games look great. Wallet is still full.
5 Stars Great for the Value
This cord works as well as cords that cost well over a hundred dollars. If there is a difference in quality, I can’t see it. I’ve had it six months with no complaints.

Electroline EDA 2800 Eight Port Cable TV HDTV Signal Booster Amplifier Retail Package

The EDA-2800 amplifies your cable TV signal and splits it at the same time to dramatically reduce the SNOWY, GRAINY picture on your TV. The snowy, grainy effect is caused by a signal that is weakened by splitters, long cable runs, and other devices like VCRs. The EDA-2800 is fully compatible with all advanced cable TV services including Internet (cable modems), Digital TV, HDTV, On-Demand, VoIP. Its Bi-Directional capability allows the signal to pass to and from the cable network, which is essential for interactive services. It provides an easy way to improve your Cable TV picture, HDTV reception, and cable modem performance. If you have a snowy picture, digital pixelation, or just have too many TVs in your home to support a good picture (because of too many splitters) then this is a great amplifier for you. Boosts signal strength by more than 2x per port (+4dB), Improves Analog, Digital & HDTV Picture Quality. Works on all cable TV systems. Compatible with TiVo, HDTV, Digital Cable and More! Not for use with Satellite TV. The EDA-2800 was also designed to withstand powerful surges which cause service outages. It withstands the IEEE 6kV combination wave surge test, which is the modern cable TV industry standard. Electroline is the absolute best name in the business – bar none!

5 Stars better picture
I have 5 TV’s total in my house…3 are 1080p. I was getting lines and some interference………I put this in….perfect ever since!!!
5 Stars Completely satisfied
Electroline EDA-2800 Amplifier
Several years ago, after we bought a High Definition TV, we found the picture to be of far lower quality than the same model on display in Myer Emco’s store. After doing some research on why that would be, plus interviewing unusually helpful Comcast technicians and some friends, the reason was obvious.
Comcast’s cable entered the house and went into a splitter – the output of that splitter went into other splitters, eventually feeding a cable signal to each room. The problem with this approach was every splitter significantly reduced the signal strength and having multiple splitters can noticeably degrade picture quality. Also, long coax cable runs, from the street and within the house, further weakened the signal. The signal getting to that TV was just too weak.
Comcast offered to rent an Electroline amplifier for a monthly charge, but it was more economical to buy one. Click on customer photos above to see the house wiring junction based on Comcast recommendations. (The photo doesn’t show the DC transformer that comes with the amplifier – you’ll need an A/C outlet close-by, where it plugs in.) Each coax line FROM the amplifier is a direct run to a wall plate location. After installing the amp, the picture quality was as good as I’ve ever seen, (certainly as good as in the Myer Emco store) and Internet/email worked fine on my PC. Picture quality on the other non-HD TV’s also improved noticeably.
Excellent product.

4 Stars My satellite reception is clear again!!
Have a dual channel satellite dish. One tv on channel one (clear), and 4 tvs on the other which had a very poor picture. When speaking with a satellite installer, he suggested that I purchase an amplified splitter. I had purchased one previously, and I’m not sure if just quit working, but when this one was installed the picture was clear!!! Very easy instructions to hook it up! Great purchase for the price!!!
5 Stars Great product
When Comcast upgrade their digital cable, some channels apparently have weaker signal. I can’t receive Discovery, CNN, TLC, Animal Planet, etc. Checking the Amazon product and reviews, I found this could be the product I need. Indeed, it is. After I purchased and installed this product, all channels are received. Very happy about the investment.
5 Stars Works great
Before I put this little jewel in my distribution, I had several TV’s that would regular pixelate and drop signal. Now, all the TV’s have crystal clear reception. I’ve not missed my cable since hooking into the new digital over-the-air signals.
5 Stars This improved my reception.
I wanted to add a cable jack in another room of my house. I picked up a cheap splitter at Home Depot to do it. All TV’s after the splitter had snowy pictures. After installing this splitter all of the TV’s looked good. It doesn’t for data lines.
5 Stars This Drop Amp is a Dream – but lacks a few bells and whistles
I wish I had known about this drop amp years ago. I’ve been messing around with the cable company for years over their signal strength and inability to drive my setup. This amp worked beautifully right out of the box enabling me to easily hook up my cable modem, VOIP box, two interactive HDTV cable boxes, and 4 analog sets directly in a nice clean arrangement. My previous setup used so many splitters that one or the other devices either got short changed regarding signal strength or lost the ability to communicate bidirectionally. Pixilated video also cleared up.
There are perhaps only two options I would look for in a future purchase… 1) Since I installed this amp I have learned about fail-safe amps that upon a power failure enable the VOIP telephone system to continue to operate. If this is critical to you I would suggest seeking out this option, and 2) it would be nice to have the capability to add another rf input onto your distribution network (e.g., a modulated closed-circuit TV channel). I have used a Channel Vision amp in another setup to back-feed the cable box output to all the other analog TV’s on the distribution network. In this way the proprietary cable channels could be watched on any set in the house.

3 Stars Good product if not broken
Never buy one used that’s all I must say. For the most part I think it was a perfect product and it serves it’s purpose well. Great for laptops.
1 Star Don’t waste your $$
I’ll try to keep this one short and to the point. First, I have been making a living by knowing how to use and service Windows; the PC this was installed on is a very stable XP box. Basically it worked OK for a couple of months, I got more channels than my analog TV, but the reception on several would cut out for a few seconds at a time for no reason; I could accept that. But then it just stopped working; no reception at all. I tried reinstalling, reconfiguring and even tried new drivers (which wouldn’t install) basically have come to the conclusion that it’s junk as none of the drivers included recognize the hardware even though Windows says it’s still there. This will be my first and last Hauppauge.
1 Star buyer beware do not buy!!!!
would not work with my cable box , would not work with the cable line only got 1 station i paid for cable service and could not get it to work with time Warner cable system’s support clammed it was the cable company’s fault all they both did was pass the buck no one never took the blame. what a waste of money.
1 Star Very, Very poor quality
I never got this to work on a windows machine Service Pack 3. The software wanted me to downgrade to Service pack 2. Also the kworld site is a dread, this product is not even listed. There is no driver support.
Stay away from this kworld product, spend a couple bucks more and get something thats actually listed on the manufacturers site!
5 Stars Picks up more stations than I expected
I purchased this to use during power outages during hurricane season, My little 5″ portable will not receive the digital signals. It would never receive but one channel .To my supprise when I installed this device on my laptop it found 7 channels.I like it so much I sent my son,who lives in Iowa one for Christmas. They have weather related power outages and they can use it when they go camping.

3 Stars great for what it does
This produces very clear pictures and I really like it. But I don’t know how the alternatives perform. However, the issues I’ve observed are:
- gets REALLY hot and can’t use for very long
- works WORSE when you plug in the antenna
4 Stars T14A USB Digital Tuner
I found this little device to be very exciting. I live more than 35 miles from the transmitting stations in Chicago and I get all but two digital stations with the included antenna.
Pros: The picture is crisp and clear. The antenma is small and compact and works well. You can record programs to your hard drive and view later. You can take still high resolution snap shots as the programs are played. The price is very reasonable. You get Wide Screen HD TV on your PC for a very small price.
Cons: There is a capability to schedule recording to your hard drive, but with Win XP MCE I have, it does not work. I downloaded the lastest SW from their web site and the scheduling was fixed but the application is unstabe and hangs. So I stuck with the SW which came with it and live without the scheduled recording feature.
Overall, I highly recommend buying this device!
1 Star Terrible drivers
Now, I know it seems odd that I’m giving this thing 1 star even though so many other people have given good reviews. The reason though is that if you don’t have Media Center this thing very quickly becomes a nightmare. I’ve installed this on 3 different computers with the following results:
Vista Basic Laptop: Initially the tuner worked OK on this laptop, and the only issue was that the scheduler/remote software would sometimes start using up 100% CPU (note that these programs run even when you’re not watching TV). I got sick of that, so I uninstalled it. When I tried installing it later, the newer Vista drivers won’t even let you scan for channels correctly in their own TV tuning software. And you cannot add channels manually in that software!
Windows XP SP3 Desktop: Worked right after install, but after a reboot of the computer it had a lot of trouble working right. I tried countless combinations of the various drivers I had, and unfortunately some of the driver installations had the software installed with it so certain combinations of software and driver versions weren’t possible (very annoying since one of the older drivers seemed to work better, but I couldn’t use the new software since it required that I uninstall the old software first…which removed the drivers as well).
Windows Server 2008 Desktop (like Vista): I upgraded my desktop to Server 2008, and ran into the same problems as my Vista Basic laptop-it won’t even scan for channels.
Windows XP Laptop: Tried it on another laptop out of desperation to get at least one computer to make it work-so far it’s working but I wouldn’t count on this lasting.
So, in summary, if you don’t have some version or another of Media Center, be prepared for headaches. And in fact, if you have Vista be prepared for it to not even work in the least because the current driver version is ridiculous. Worst yet there’s no place to get older drivers, so you’re basically out of luck if the drivers you can get don’t work on your system. Terrible.
4 Stars What you would expect
This was actually a good piece of hardware, it does what it advertises. I picked up a couple of HD channels, ppl have been complaining about the software but i used Vista Media Center which accepted it with no hassle. Though it does get hot after a couple of hours of use, but that’s expected in a tuner.
4 Stars Artec USB Digital Tv Tuner
Works well, I will purchase a much better attenna , Also I have 1GB of ram and it locked up my Laptop and I am running a Dual core processor. But I upgraded to 2GB’s of ram and it runs flawlessly, I picked up 14 channels in my local area with the cheap attenna. Now I will not miss a NFL game on Sundays when I have to work.I think that was 39 dollars well spent

Winegard MS 2002 HDTV Antenna without Cable

HD antenna with 0-30 mile range.
User Ratings and Reviews
1 Star so so
I have a water tank obstruction close to the line-of-site to the stations local to my area. I was unable to get a really good signal using this antenna even though I am no more than 6 to 7 miles from the towers. I reverted back to my old antenna mounted inside the attic and with proper orientation got the new digital signals with enough strength to maintain the images without freeze.
2 Stars Not Impressed
I currently have an off-air antenna mounted in my attic that I bought a number of years ago from Radio Shack. It worked, but not great. In preparation for the switch to digital TV I thought I’d upgrade to something better and decided to purchase the Winegard MS-2002. After installing it on my roof top I was less than thrilled. I live in what’s referred to as a the Metro Detroit area (Lake Orion) and get drop-out on a number of channels that originate in the Metro area, specifically channel 2 Fox WJBK. I’m hoping things may change after the full switch to digital occurs on June 12. Right now I’d not recommend this antenna.
5 Stars super duper antenna!
With the whole digital transition it really made me mad. I do not watch enough TV to pay for cable or dish. A co-worker told me about this antenna. WOW, what a great price. It is so easy to install and I just love it. I am a true believer and have told many about this product.
2 Stars Didn’t really pull in the DTV channels as I expected
I live near the beach (flat area) in FL and have been running DTV using amplified rabbit ears in my Apartment for a year now.
Reception has been iffy at best. After doing internet research and making phone calls, I was told that this unit would solve my problems.
I mounted this amplified antenna on my roof expecting fantastic reception.
Although I did scan in quite a few stations I didn’t get with the rabbit ears, at least 1/3 only come in rarely and it is not at all uncommon for most channels to cut out.
I have had 2 TVs for a year now, side by side, 1 with analogue and 1 with DTV. I thought that this antenna would really improve reception, but alas, this non-european style DTV that has been foisted upon us just isn’t going to work in some areas.
I can’t see any reason why this antenna shouldn’t work better, but it really hasn’t cut the muster.
5 Stars It Really Works
I was thinking about getting the SS-3000 or the HD-1080(attic mount) so I fired off an e-mail to Winegard support. The tech guy actually suggested the MS-2000 to me. I didn’t know too much about it because most people seem to be buying the other antennas. I ordered the MS-2002 as I didn’t need the coaxial cable. Now the beauty of the MS-2000 is that it is not directional at all. I took off the rabbit ears I had been using and plugged it in, right on my coffee table. Wow, clear steady signals on 28 channels with none of that annoying fade in and out anymore. I got another 2 stations that had weak signals but those were 30+ miles out ant I didn’t watch them anyway. Quite a change over the 20 I was getting with the rabbits which also had to be turned depending on what I was wanting to watch. Since there were no other stations in my area to pick up, I decided that a mount outside the house wasn’t necessary. I put it on top of a bookshelf next to the TV and drilled a hole through the top of the bookshelf to run the cable thru. Presto, no mount needed and the antenna is almost invisible in the living room(wife like it that way). Only thing is you need a large bookshelf to do what I did cause the MS-2000 is about 2 feet in diameter.

5 Stars Works great!
If you need a rg-6 splitter this one works great. Its is 2GHz so it can handle HD programming. I have this hooked up to an over the air antenna and have no problem splitting the HD signals to all the rooms in my house. Another nice feature is the DC pass. If you need to hook a preamp next to your antenna you can power it through this splitter. That saves you from having to run another cable. I would buy another one if the need ever arises for another splitter. Overall I’m very happy with this product.

5 Stars Great Card!
The card works great and I am running all of my games on their highest settings which was the whole point of buying this card. The installation was easy and quick and I have not had any problems in the two months that I have been playing with it.
5 Stars Works Great!
I bought this video card in hopes to be able to watch streaming videos on a V7, 22 inch wide screen monitor. Results were very satisfying .I am able to watch streaaming videos on my monitor at 1680 x 1050 resolution with a clear picture with no choppiness or any distortion of picture.Video quality is great.Would reccommend for those who are just interested in using it for videos.Easy to install also.
5 Stars Huge Improvement
The Geforce 8400GS card was able to do what my Dell’s card could not, drive my flat screen display. The Dell graphics card would blank the screen off and on, in no decipherable pattern. Trying to work with the screen going black was insufferable. The Geforce card also brought better definition to the display and improved the color. The 30+ bucks to fix the problem left me wondering why it took so long for me to get it. Great product!

5 Stars There’s no need to pay a lot for an HDMI cable
[Anyone remembers the old "I am not going to spend a lot for this muffler" commercial?]
Just in case someone may feel guilty for not paying a lot more for, basically the same thing, let’s look at one of our top of the line offers in premium HDMI, Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable (2 meters) and do a quick comparison.
For a lot less, the BLUE Advanced supports the HDMI 1.3a/b standard. Any HDMI 1.3 cable can carry up to 10.2 Gbit/s. Hmmm… I suppose the Monster is much better, right? Well… it “guarantees a certified cable bandwidth of 10.2″ Okay, but the Monster also supports “x.v.Color, and Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD”. It turns out that, all of the above, and more, are part of the HDMI 1.3 specs and they are fully supported by every cable that complies to the standard and can be had for about 95% less in the Premium Gold. The expensive brand presentation simply enumerates the HDMI 1.3 specs as if it being HDMI 1.3 compliant was a really big deal. It is not a big deal. Even a cable that costs 95% less is HDMI 1.3 compliant.
My suggestion: if you think that the proponents of the expensive brand have a point when they claim that their product is a lot more durable, buy TWO Blue Advanced wires and still pay significantly less than half of what you would pay for one of the expensive ones.
My personal experience: I’ve never paid ‘a lot’ for an HDMI cable because it makes no sense to pay more. I took home one of the ‘expensive’ ones once because the salesman promised to take it back if I wasn’t amazed by the difference. It made zero difference and I returned it.
