4 Stars Nice tv for the price
I bought this several months back for my bedroom to replace my 19″ analog tv that I had for decades. Initially the 22″ looked smaller to me than my old RCA but I know that’s not really the case. It’s very lightweight, the picture is sharp and needs very little tweaking. There are plenty of ports for plugging in dvd players, game systems, etc. There is a HDMI port as well. It also has a vga port so you can plug in a computer, I’ve done that a few times to prove I could do it. The display was great.
The remote has sleep mode which I love. And the buttons on the remote gets you to where you have stuff plugged in. I can click Video and have my game system be on it while Computer will show my laptop plugged in. It’s simplistic enough not to confuse the average person. I’m on satellite and the receiver recognized this tv very quickly.
A few things makes this review lose a star. The speakers are okay; not fabulous just okay. Since it’s a bedroom and I don’t plan to buy a surround sound system for them, it will have to do. The other thing that drives me nuts is if you turn on closed captioning the captions are so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read them. I’ve tried monkeying in the settings but I can’t figure out how to make the captioning any larger. This probably won’t bother 99% of the population though. I just like to have the captioning on if I have to mute the tv, but not if I have to squint or sit practically nose to nose with the tv.
Overall it’s a good tv for the price. Not perfect but not the worse out there by any means.

3 Stars good, but DVD is noisy
great design, easy installation, quite good picture, but the DVD is disturbingly noisy when watching a movie. It can be heard despite the sound of the movie.
4 Stars Great picture for price
I’ve had this TV for almost 4 months and am very happy with it. The Picture is great for the price, with very vibrant colors and contrasts. The blacks are not as dark as you can find on more expensive TVs, but are as good as you can find in this price range. The DVD is noisy, which is really unfortunate. The Speakers are ok, but nothing great. I’d highly recommend this TV if you are looking for a TV that you will output sound to a stereo receiver. I actually found this at a price less expensive than the model without the built-in DVD player! Also, the high number of HDMI and other inputs is really fantastic. I do not regret this purchase at all!
5 Stars LG 32LG40 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV with Built-in DVD Player
I purchased the LG tv for our bedroom, to replace a smaller standard tv. The LG picture is great and the built in DVD player is also a great idea. I read other reviews and a couple said the DVD player was noisey. So far, I can not complain with mine. Yes, when you first insert a disc, it sounds like a laptop DVD drive spinning as it reads the disc, but after a few seconds, the noise is gone and the picture is playing. Great tv and great service through Ammazon.com and their supplier. The tv came in its original pack and was then packed in a larger carton with foam packing all around it. Excellent service and no damage to the product.
5 Stars So far so good
So far the TV has been a great purchase, very pleased. If there were a downside to the DVD player it would be a very faint noise feedback when playing. Certainly not enough to wory about.
1 Star Amazon gets a zero
You provided the product as promised and on time. The reason you get a horrible review is because Amazon is horrible. Thier customer service rots. I ordered items direct from them that reached me weeks past the due date and they won’t respond to me requests to return them. I get the same form letter garbage every time I try to contact them. Amazon is crooked. Maybe they’ll find time to reply if I keep embarrassing them enough times.

4 Stars Pretty good value
These speakers are my 3rd attempt at finding something I’m happy with. For the price, I would recommend these. They’re not perfect, but I am happy with them. They are weatherproof and have decent sound quality and decent volume. They have a/c adapters and they take 12 C batteries and this can get expensive I suppose. I like the auto-off and auto-on feature. I’m not happy with the remote; it doesn’t always turn the speaker on after they’ve been off for a period of time. I also wish it had a “mute” button. Anyway, good value.
5 Stars Pretty cool. Great value.
This speaker system works. Set up was easy. The sound is good. I added a third speaker to the two that come with the system, and it worked without issues. I have not tried the speakers out on battery, nor have I tested the waterproofness of them. Recommended.
5 Stars great speakers for the$
very happy with the sound and portability of these speakers DONT HESITATE TO BUY THEM LIKE I DID.
3 Stars 2 Years Later…
I’ve had these speakers for about 2 years now and 1 speaker completely stopped working and the transmitter’s power input jack is loose and very touchy. The speakers worked great before that, I used them everywhere.
Using batteries with them really isn’t worth the money spent on batteries. You won’t get much use out of your speakers before the batteries are low and you find yourself scooting the speaker closer and closer to the transmitter.
You’re lucky if you can get the speakers to work without any noise 150 ft away from the transmitter.
If I had to do it over again I’d probably spent double the money on something of higher quality.
3 Stars Power Problems
The speaker acts very strange after a power hit, even a minor one. It will work on batteries, but not in the power supply. As there is no way to fix the unit, you are require to purchase a new one.

5 Stars Fantastic Buy
I’m lazy, so this will be short.
The picture is amazing on HD! I have DirecTV with HD and am just blown away. SD channels are fine, but when stretched are noticeably ‘fuzzy’. This is not a TV issue though, I’ve seen the same on my 42″ HD. It just becomes much more apparent at 73″. I like the different adjustments for each input, it’s come in handy. I don’t use the speakers, but did try them out and they were adequate (who would buy this TV without a home theater sound system?).
Anyway, shipping was very fast and delivered to my garage (as requested). I’m very pleased with my first online purchase of this SIZE. I’ve spent more, but never bought something this massive.
This review was written after two weeks of use.
5 Stars Mitsubishi 73 inch HDTV
More than I expected. Hooked up very easy. Picture quality is outstanding. Has three HDMI inputs for components, although I am connecting through a Yamaha RX-V765 A/V receiver. I also have Dish TV DVR, Blu Ray and DVD recorder connected to the Yamaha with one HDMI output to the TV. Works great! Better than going to the theatre.

5 Stars Great First LCD TV
I thought my 9 year old sony died but it was my directv receiver needed resetting. I got such a great deal on this tv at $448 from Brandsmart in Atlanta I thought I might as well keep it. I did not like it for the first day because of the sound and factory settings are not great. Keep playing with the adjustments and called LG and now the sound and picture are great. The stand is not difficult to put together if you notice one side of the holes are set farther apart than the other side and if you match them up they snap in. If you cut the auto volume off and the clear voice off the sound can get loud and the tru sound is awesome. I tried the settings CNET recommended but my tv is in a bright room so the expert 1 with a 2ire setting works much better than the 10IRE. Set the colors that are best for your eye. For the money I don’t think you will find a better tv and I don’t have it on a high def receiver yet and the picture is very good.
5 Stars Wow, what a TV
I wanted a 32″ TV for my bedroom to replace a 19″ tube TV. I purchased this product at Bestbuy when it was on sale for $447.99 and this TV is worth every penny. The picture quality is good on low def channels and amazing on Hi def channels. A lot of people complained about the speakers on this TV, I’m guessing they were expecting Bose quality to come out of these little 10w speakers.
If you’re looking for a 32″ TV with amazing picture quality, this is the TV for you. The regular price tag of $599.99 would be asking more than this TV is worth.
5 Stars Excellent entry level HDTV
Read reviews before purchase and was not disappointed, clear and good colors easy setup and sleek design would recommend this for the price.
In comparison with my Samsung 42″ this one is faster surfing trough the channels.
5 Stars Great picture quality for TV
This product is excellent; I love the picture quality and brightness. It is also a very good looking design.
1 Star Blurry
My doctor’s office has one of these.
There are no significant viewing angle problems. However, the picture is blurry. It is obviously NOT just the source that is to blame, as there is another TV in the same office, connected to the same source, and its picture is much better.
Bring back the picture tube (CRT). Even the best LCDs still do not look as good as a quality picture tube, and the average LCD looks horrible. Most LCD screens I have seen really deserve 0 stars. (This unit at least deserves the 1 star.) Its amazing to see all the uninformed masses buy these LCDs just so they can hang it on the wall. That is the worst and dumbest reason to buy one, since the pic is inferior to a good picture tube.

1 Star Very Disappointing
I received this as a birthday present just shy of one year ago. The speaker sounded good, a bit hollow, but not bad for a single speaker. We used this for four months, then I put it away in the basement for the winter (to keep the battery from draining).
Pulled this out over the weekend, charged it overnight, and then…nothing. The battery would not hold the charge. I contacted Cables Unlimited and was told they do not make a replacement battery for this. Also, since it was 5 days over the one-year warranty period, they would not replace the speaker. So basically, we have a very plastic-looking rock that now works only when plugged into a power outlet.
I highly recommend everyone stay away from this product, unless they want to throw their money away for something with far-too short of a lifespan.
2 Stars Poor sound quality
I didn’t think it was worth the price. The sound output sounds muffled and the reception gets disrupted once in a while. I had the transmitter only 30 feet away and this was the case. I wouldn’t recommend.
2 Stars Good sound, VERY inconvenient.
I bought two of these speakers for the area around my pool, thinking “Oh Boy! No more carrying a boom box out!” They are driven by a radio that is on my deck…a perfect setup, I thought.
The sound is ok (for a wireless rock, I guess).
But, the user manual states in the specs that they are auto on/off, and in another place in the manual it states that they will turn off after four minutes of getting no signal in order to conserve power, but it also states that they will turn on again when they get a signal again. So both spots in the manual agree that they are AUTO ON/OFF.
They do turn off automatically, but they do NOT turn back on automatically. Even if they are plugged into AC power 24/7, which mine are.
So, every time I want to listen to music I must turn on the radio on the deck, and then go down to EACH rock speaker individually and turn it on, and then go back and forth between the various rocks until I think the balance is correct. (They don’t retain your last volume setting, so I have to turn them on and then adjust the volumes again among the various rocks that I have).
If you only wanted to use these on special occasions and kept them in a closet charging the rest of the time, then turning them on manually is no big deal as you would have to visit each rock speaker as you carried it to its location anyway. But for someone who wants to leave them out most of the time (as I do), then they are not useful.
4 Stars rock speaker
this speaker works well. the sound quality is not the best, but it is ok for a single wireless speaker. i would consider buying a second speaker in an attempt to improve sound quality.
2 Stars Great look, poor sound
I bought two of these speakers to put out at poolside. They don’t always work right unless I have them plugged into electricity. Even on a full charge the sound tends to cut in and out. The quality of the sound is poor and the only way you can change it is by changing the sound at the source. I am using my ipod and I’ve yet to find a mode that sounds good to me. If I have some extra bass then the speakers sound like the sound is coming from the botttom of a barrel and if I have less bass they sound tinny. I will probably use these this summer (my wife would kill me if I bought another set of speakers) and then next year try to sell these and pick up some other speakers. These aren’t truly outdoor speakers as the manual says that they sould not be left outside in the rain.
